LUMINARIES - A NEW LIGHT FOR THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT

 On a vibrant September 27, 2024, the English Department of BMM II Training College gathered to celebrate the birth of their new association, LUMINARIES. The event began with a welcoming speech by Smt. Shijini, followed by a prayer from Muhsina. Principal Sri. Riju John officially unveiled the name of the association, while Fr. Sabu delivered an insightful speech explaining its meaning and importance. Among the highlights was a beautiful solo performance by Anagha R. Nair, alongside captivating group dance acts. The celebration culminated in an engaging and spirited game session that left participants energized and created a lively, unforgettable atmosphere.

 On September 26, 2024, the first year students of BMM II Training College launched the 'curriculum canteen', a project aimed at offering students practical experience in management and teamwork. The project received its first support from Rev. Fr. Jacob M, the local manager, who made the inaugural purchase. The canteen is fully operated by the students, allowing them to handle all aspects of its functioning, from financial management to customer service. The event was graced by the presence of the principal and faculty, who offered their encouragement for this student-led endeavor.  

Onam 2K24

On September 12, 2024, BMM II T C celebrated Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala. The Nitara college union organized the all onam programs. A vibrant pookkalam was created at the college, setting the tone for the festivities. A traditional onam sadhya was served, featuring a variety of delicious dishes. The celebration included various programs. Students and faculty came together to make the event a resounding success, enjoying the festivities and creating memories.

Association Inauguration 2024-2026

We are delighted to share the excitement and joy of the successful inauguration of  association on 10th September 2024. The event began with a warm welcome by Vismaya Thomas Teacher. We were deeply honored to have Dr. C. Unnikrishnan Rtd. Principal of D. B College Sasthamkotta, as our chief guest. His presence and thought provoking speech inspired us to strive for excellence in our endeavors. Shamna Rani Teacher delivered a thought provoking presidential address. We were delighted to have Dr. Praveena Teacher and Akhil Raj S Sir felicitate the occasion, sharing their valuable insights and words of encouragement. Shijini Teacher expressed a sincere vote of thanks. The event showcased the talented students vibrant cultural programs.

A Heartwarming Experience: Social Visit to Ashraya Charitable Society

On September 6, 2024 our team had the privilege of visiting Ashraya charitable trust in Kalayapuram, a shining example of compassion and kindness in action. 

We arrived at 10:15 am, and were warmly greeted by the superintendent, in the absence of the founder Shri. Kalayapuram Jose. Superintendent took the time to elaborate on all aspects of the trust, covering everything from their founding principles to their current projects and future plans. We spent quality time with the inmates, listening to their stories and sharing moments of joy and laughter. 

We were accompanied by our teachers, Akhil Raj S sir, Shijini teacher, Sheeja teacher, and Vismaya teacher, who joined us on the visit. We arranged a range of  cultural programs for the inmates. The cultural performances by our team, which brought smiles to the inmates faces. We gave a small token of our love to the trust. We were warmly hosted by the trust, who treated us to a lovely meal.

Our visit to the Ashraya charitable trust was a truly enriching and heartwarming experience. The trust's dedication to serving others is truly inspiring, and we felt privileged to be a part of it, even if only for a short time. The visit taught us valuable lessons about empathy, kindness, and the importance of giving back to the society.

BHERI Arts Day 2024

The four day Bheri Arts Day at BMM II TC was a resounding success. It began with a writing competitions on august 23rd and 27th. The art festival was officially inaugurated on August 29th, by Shri.S. R  Ramesh, Chairman, Kottarakara Municipality. The event featured a welcome speech by the Principal Riju John, a presidential address by the college union chairman Jaison Rajan ,and a keynote address by the administrator Rev. Fr. M. Jacob. The ceremony also included  Felicitations which  were offered by Assistant Professor Nisha Mohammad T, Dr. Praveena M and Harivind Nath V.B. It concluded with a vote of thanks, proposed by the arts club secretary Akhil Krishnan R. 

The arts day celebration concluded on August 30th with a vibrant closing ceremony and award distribution. The ceremony was inaugurated by former MLA  P. Aisha Potty.

Arts day was an incredible experience. It was amazing to see the talent and creativity of the students.

Our seniors warmly welcomed us to a vibrant freshers day celebration on August 22, 2024. The event was a perfect blend of excitement and entertainment, setting the tone for a memorable academic journey. The celebration was filled with exciting games and activities. It was an unforgettable experiences. Freshers day was an impressive success, thanks to the efforts of our seniors.

The B.Ed course 2024-26 at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training college,Kottarakara was inaugurated on July 15,2024. The ceremony began with a warm welcome speech by our Principal Riju John. The event was inaugurated by our chief guest Dr.Jubin Mattappallil, Assistant Professor at St.Gregorios College, Kottarakara.The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the college local manager, Rev.Fr.M.Jacob.

Blogging with Confidence: A Workshop on Blog Creation

On September 3rd BMM II T C hosted a workshop on blog creation led by the esteemed  Hari Lal sir. The workshop covered the technical aspects of blog creation. The workshop was incredibly informative. Hari Lal sir's guidance has given us the confidence to start our own blog. The workshop on blog creation and posting was an enriching experience, providing valuable insights and practical skills.
