The program commenced at 2:00 PM, right after our criticism classes, and aimed to spread awareness on the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable living.

The event began with a symbolic sapling planting ceremony, led by Riju Sir and Fr. Simon Lukose, as a hopeful gesture toward a greener tomorrow. Shamna from the Natural Science department gracefully anchored the program, which opened with a serene prayer sung by Soja, Jessy, and Ajini.

Karthika welcomed the gathering with a warm speech, followed by a presidential address by Riju Sir, who represented our principal. Fr. Simon delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the urgency of environmental action. A heartfelt environment pledge, led by Akshara, encouraged everyone to dedicate themselves to protecting and preserving nature.

Felicitation speeches by Sheeja Chacko Miss (staff secretary), Smitha Miss, Praveena Miss, and Albin (Union Chairman) reinforced the message of environmental responsibility and community action.

Adding a touch of fun and engagement, both departments organized a series of eco-themed competitions including a puzzle game, Arrange the Words, Jumbled Words, and a quiz. These activities tested participants’ environmental knowledge and quick thinking. The English department secured the first prize in the word games, while the Mathematics department came second. In the quiz competition, the Mathematics department claimed the top spot, with the Social Science department following closely.

The program concluded at 3:40 PM with a prize distribution ceremony. The entire event served as a powerful reminder of our collective duty to nurture and protect the environment, making it a truly impactful and memorable afternoon.
