During our optional reflection session, student-teachers from various schools shared their week’s teaching experiences.
At St. Mary’s HSS, Kottarakkara, Sreelekshmi noted cooperative students but mentor-related concerns, while I (Jisa C.S.) faced ICT issues but enjoyed engaging, curious learners. Jinda managed Sports Day duties with supportive students, Varsha had a positive week with some areas for improvement, and Ancy struggled with discipline despite mentor support.
From Govt. P.V.H.S.S, Perumkulam, Adhila and Rajalakshmi highlighted projector unavailability and less satisfactory observations, while Linzy mentioned coordination gaps among trainees.
At St. Margaret’s GHS, Kundara, Anvy and Terry T reported smooth, positive experiences with good mentors and students.
In Govt. Boys HSS, Kottarakkara, Anusree managed two divisions, finding the workload challenging.
Despite hurdles like ICT limitations, workload, and classroom management issues, the session offered a valuable space for sharing strategies, learning from peers, and building confidence for the weeks ahead.
