INSIGHTS AND EXPERIENCES FROM WEEK FIVE OF MY JOURNEY

 DAY 20

11/08/2025

A PRODUCTIVE AND MEMORABLE DAY

Today, I reached school on time, signed in, and attended the morning prayer at 9:45 AM. The day held special significance as it was Quit India Day and also marked the remembrance of Nagasaki Day. Inspiring messages were shared during the prayer session, setting a thoughtful tone for the day. In the first hour, I handled a class in 8D, teaching the topic 'How to Produce'.

In the afternoon, the school ground came alive with excitement as a road show by the Kerala Cricket League was conducted, bringing energy and cheer among the students. The lively atmosphere provided a refreshing break from the regular routine, and the students enjoyed the experience thoroughly. After the event, I resumed my duties and continued with my scheduled tasks.

During the last hour, I had a substitution period in 8D, where I taught the topic 'For Whom to Produce'. By the time I signed out, I felt a sense of accomplishment for successfully managing my teaching responsibilities while also participating in the vibrant activities of the school. It was truly a productive and memorable day.

DAY 21

BALANCING TEACHING AND INTERACTIVE LEARNING

Today began with reaching school on time and signing in. The Book Fair organized by the National Education Society in collaboration with National Books and Publishers created a vibrant learning atmosphere, and i helped in maintaining discipline while students explored the stalls.

I handled three classes in total, including two substitutions. In the first period with Class 8D, i taught Economy and its Characteristics. Later, in substitution periods, I introduced Capitalist Economy and Socialist Economy. The last session was particularly engaging as I conducted a debate using the Jurisprudential Model, which made the class lively and interactive.

By the end of the day, after balancing my teaching sessions and duties at the fair, I signed out with a sense of fulfillment. The experience highlighted the importance of both academic teaching and co-curricular activities in enriching school life.

DAY 22

UNDERSTANDING MIXED ECCONOMY AND GREAT ECONOMISTS

The day began with reaching school on time and witnessing the continued buzz of the Book Fair organized by the National Education Society. I also took up duties to ensure discipline and smooth functioning during the event.

In the second hour, I taught Class 8D the topic Mixed Economy, helping students understand how it blends the strengths of both capitalist and socialist systems. Later, in a sixth-hour substitution, I introduced Economics and Economists, giving students insights into the ideas and contributions of key thinkers.

The day ended with regular duties, the national anthem, and signing out. It was fulfilling to balance classroom teaching with co-curricular responsibilities, making the practice both meaningful and enriching.

DAY 23

A DAY OF LEARNING AND AWARENESS

The day started with signing in before 9:15 AM and completing the assigned morning duties on time. The school assembly with prayer and announcements created a disciplined atmosphere and set the right tone for the day. Soon after, I had my first period class in 8D, where I entered at 9:40 AM since the diagnostic test had to be conducted before the regular session. After the test, I introduced and explained the topic Indian Economists. In the fourth period, I got a substitution class where I handled the new chapter and I taught the topic Rights.

The most memorable highlight of the day was the ' Kakkarashi Nadakam' performed in the school front ground. The theme of the performance was HIV/AIDS prevention. Students actively observed the play, and the messages was effectively communicated through entertainment.

The day concluded with the National Anthem at 3:25, followed by signing out at 4:15PM.
