Union Ektha hosted a vibrant Fresher’s Day celebration to extend a warm and memorable welcome to the juniors. The venue was adorned with colorful decorations, setting a lively and festive mood for the occasion. The program was skillfully compered by Jesna Johnson from the Mathematics Department and Alfiya N from the Malayalam Department, who entertained the audience with their energetic and cheerful style. The celebration was officially inaugurated by our Principal, Dr. Benedict, whose motivational words inspired the students and added significance to the event. The day began with a creative theme presentation prepared exclusively for the newcomers, followed by a series of cultural performances staged by the second-year students from different departments. To add more fun, engaging games were organized for the juniors, ensuring everyone’s involvement and enjoyment. After these activities, a delicious meal was arranged, making the gathering even more delightful and festive.
In the afternoon, the celebration grew more thrilling with an adventurous treasure hunt coordinated by Noel M. Shibu. Every department took part enthusiastically, turning the session into one filled with energy, teamwork, and laughter. This event gave the juniors a chance to bond while creating unforgettable memories of their first big celebration.
As the day reached its finale, the closing session became the most cherished part of the event. Teachers and students together lit up the stage with dance, music, and endless joy, reflecting the true spirit of unity and togetherness. The program concluded at 3:30 pm, leaving behind hearts brimming with happiness and memories that will be treasured for years to come.
