On 23rd August 2025, we attended a Project Orientation Workshop for the paper EDU 401.1, held in the general hall at 10 a.m. The session began with a prayer by Muhsina from the English Department, after which our Principal, Dr. Benedict, extended a warm welcome and highlighted the importance of research in the teaching profession.
The main session was led by Lakshmi Ma’am, who conducted the class in an engaging and interactive manner. She explained the essentials of minor research, action research, and case study methods, and also provided PPT materials for easy reference. The four-hour session offered not only detailed guidance but also the chance for students to clarify doubts and gain clarity about the upcoming project work.
Post lunch, an interactive session gave students the opportunity to seek further clarification. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Neethu Raj from the Malayalam Department, and Arun Sir officially declared the workshop closed. With the active presence of all faculty members, the orientation turned out to be both insightful and motivating, equipping us with the confidence to approach research systematically.
